How does the Microblading procedure work?

Microblading is multi step and includes 2 appointments. The initial appointment is 2 hours and allows us to decide color, shape, and create the framework of your new brows. (My before and afters are usually all after the initial- so you'll see that you leave with full new brows). The second appointment is the touch up/perfection session that takes place 5-6 weeks later. We will review how it healed and make adjustments on color, shape, and I'll add more detailed strokes to create the finalized feathered look.

How do I maintain my microblading results?

Microblading is semi permanent and on average lasts 12-18 months; I suggest yearly touch up maintenance. Retention varies person to person and things such as lifestyle, age, skin type, sun exposure, skin care products and treatments all play a role in how the microblading fades. A broad spectrum sunscreen applied daily AFTER healing on the brow area is recommended. As with any tattoo, sun exposure will make the color fade faster. It is also recommended to keep all retinoids away from the brow area, as these also cause the color to fade faster.
